Your New Computer System - 'You choose'

As we build each computer 100% to YOUR order, YOU choose what YOU want in your new machine!

We find that many people who buy the 'Packages' offered in the high street shops are unhappy with their purchase a little further down the road once they understand what their new computer will do, or more importantly what it won't! They then end up having to buying extra items they did not think about at the time, were unaware of or simply assumed they would get. There is no point paying for things you don't need or leaving out options that are more important to you.

Solution

Questions you may want to ask yourself to help you decide: -

  1. What do I want my computer to do? (Play games, DTP, Word-processing, Music etc.) This may seem an odd question but it really matters. You don't want to find your new machine is not adequate to play the newest games if that's what you want or to run high-end desk top publishing packages or edit video.

  2. What sort of flat screen Monitor do I want? The maximum size you have will depend on your needs and what graphics caperbility you have on your machine. We can advise you on an upgrade which will allow you to drive a larger monitor at higher resolutions.

  3. Do I need any peripherals like printers & scanners?

  4. What sort of internet connection do you want? We can help you get connected and set up you new system in your home.

  5. What is the maximum budget you want to allow for your new computer? This allows us to 'target' your investment where you want the most benefit. It's not all about processor speeds, your 'computer system' is just that 'a system.' In other words your computer performance can be dramatically reduced by slower components in the 'data chain' reducing transfer data between components and making the whole system slower overall. So a faster machine needs fast RAM (memory), faster Hard disks and a fast Video cards on a par with the processor installed.

  6. Have you got another home machine or laptop and need a home network machines or share the internet access between machines? You can share files between computers, share printers or indeed anything else on any machine on the network.

  7. What Operating system? Vista Ultimate or Basic, windows 7 Home or Ultamate?

  8. What additional software do I want to run? Microsoft Office 2010, Anti-virus, DVD writing software, DTP, scanning, educational or games etc...
