60% of all our repairs are made in 24 hours with 30% in 48 hours with only 10% delayed if new computer components need to be ordered. We do however keep a stock of the most common computer parts to reduce any delays. If you advise us to we will BACK UP all your important data, safely and securely giving you complete piece of mind.
We use specialised professional diagnostic software and tools to diagnose the problem quickly & efficiently so you are not paying for more time than you need to.
This procedure will sometimes detect other problems not always known to the user.
Upgrades
Upgrading your existing computer is a cost effective alternative to a new machine, allowing you to make the most from your original investment. Upgrading does have limitations.
Laptops
Notebooks have a very limited upgrade path. Normally only additional memory or perhaps a bigger hard drive and that's just about it. Components are also relatively more expensive as manufacturers would prefer you to by a new laptop rather than upgrade your existing one.
Base units
The base units of desktop or tower computers on the other hand are more flexible to upgrade. They offer the potential for additional 'cards' that fit into vacant PCI slots within the main box.

The motherboard is the most important component in your whole computer, everything else attaches to it. However it is also the main limiting factor to upgrading as the type of motherboard determines the maximum speed of the fastest processor that can be attached, as well as the type of RAM and peripherals.
We can evaluate your existing machines capacity to be upgraded and quote you on the cost before any work commences so you can decide whether to upgrade or put your money towards the cost of a new machine.
To keep cost down, some components may be transferred to make your new system.
For example - Computer Case, floppy drive, CD/DVD Readers/writers.

Secure Security Wipe Service - To make a hard drive 'as new'

Protect the security and privacy of your confidential data. We can clean your drive with professional disk erase tools.. We can wipe the hard drive clean with up to SEVEN disk erase passes that will over-write with varied data, including a low-level format for complete sterilisation including a test utility to make sure the drive is clean.
We can also include the old drive in the new machine as a 'slave' (secondary drive) so increasing your storage space.
We can also securely wipe your hard drive to remove any trace of sensitive or personal files.
Any files to be removed are done so in a secure environment and your confidentialty is secured.
Forgotten windows password?
We can safely and securely remove existing windows login password so you are then free to reset. This can mean you have free access to your windows files WITHOUT having to do a complete reinstallation or hard disk restore.
